Mr Bloor has finally achieved a mid table finish similar to that attained by Mr Colwell 4 years ago, but there the similarity ends.
Mr Colwell had to use County League players but moulded them into a Ryman League outfit. Mr Bloor has better players at his disposal, but his teams frequently play like a County League side.
Although I have absented myself from the Saffrons, I keep in touch with people who still go and they confirm that little has changed. I know at least half a dozen who like me will not go back until Mr Bloor has moved on. And these are just the people I know. How many more are there ?
Mr Wilson has given a clear message that he will jump ship at the first decent offer, and who could blame him? I cannot believe the committee cannot or will not see the glaring opportunity they are allowing to slip through their fingers.

Jontee whilst i always welcome your negative views on here ,how can you pass judgement when you have only seen a few games this season ?Was you there when we played Dulwich the league winners and won 2-0 ? i dont think so ,what a game that was full of passion and committment ,ok so not every game was like that ,but lets be realistic here .We have a budget that is nowhere near some of the other clubs around us , we competed well this season ,although we did have dips in form ,we have a decent squad that is very local to eastbourne ,not relying on players from afar ,surely thats got to be a bonus ? Yes ady had a county league squad of players ,but the euthoria of being promoted into the new league carried us through that season and was it not them same players that let ady down when we lost at Horsham and he handed in his resignation ? Things have changed Jontee and will continue to do so at the Saffrons ,where you choose and other people choose to watch their football is down to them , we cannot make people come through the gate !!!However we can only try to continue to provide football at the highest level we can maintain ,right now that is Ryman league level ,who knows what it will be in the future ?? Iv watched Town for more years than i can remember now ,i dont always agree with the manager and his team selection ,but that is down to him and his coaches ,not the committee or chairman .You either support the team and club or you dont ,it really is that simple ,i on the other hand , no matter who the manager is or will be support the club through thick and thin , just a pity alot more people dont do that throughout non league football .

Yellow Peril, I did preface my comments by saying that I based them on feedback from spectators I know.
The budget is what it is, but is it being used effectively ? The manager continues to chop and change the team. He acquires players often on reputation who then fail to perform. The Horsham result you mention occurred 2 1/2 years after promotion in a season with no sponsorship or financial backing. Ady resigned, yes, but Mr Bloor was clearly waiting in the wings, for him to be axed.
I did not pass judgement but merely stated facts and an opinion. The thrust of my post was to focus on Mr Wilson who is clearly under employed. The committee don'tpick the team, but they do pick the manager. Mr Wilson has been linked with the Lewes job which is fair enough. They are a bigger club and I imagine that would be a good fit. But would he make such a move if he was Town manager, which he could be, in my opinion should be. He has also been linked with Eastbourne United. What an embarrassment for Town if he ended up there !
I have said before that I am not a supporter who has to support the club's every move and decision, good or bad. I am a (potential) spectator and can therefore make comments from a more detached standpoint. These may appear negative, but realistic, objective, comments are often criticised in this way. It goes with the territory.
