Could it be that our first team have given up playing football for Lent? They certainly haven't played any this week. The spectators who came along on Friday evening thinking that we could not play any worse than we did in the first half on Tuesday were very mistaken. I cannot understand how we can put out eleven players of proven ability and watch them behave like a team of misfits. Although Ady did not have players with the skills of the present side he did at least have them organised. The last goal we scored from a set-peice was back in the mist of time when Simmo scored!

Couldn't make the game. Friday nights are not clever for me. But, based on the Godalming game, can only agree with you OAP. I am afraid it's the difference between a good manager and a poor manager. I have been slagged off for my many previous posts on this subject, and have tried to be positive about Mr Bloor ie credit where due etc. But I think we can all see now that he is just not up to it. As you say, Ady may not have had such good players, but he got the best out of what he had and they would run through a brick wall for him. Can only hope the committee wake up to this.
