A club on a far firmer base this year, so I'm given to understand but may I wish our Ladies good luck when playing near Croydon's cemetery in the Ryman Cup!!

won 6 - 0, away to croydon, after the first 20 mins, town ladies as dominant as the score suggests. The move that resulted in Karema Abdallas goal (4-0), made it possibly the goal of the season.

Heard all about the game in Town today. Well Done to Garry, the manager, and all the girls in the side. I hear the opening goal was the turning point for our side and from then on in there was no stopping them. On their way to a second year in succession Final? Our girls side is getting as good as our Men's Reserve Team.

It is great that the ladies and reserve teams are doing well but what about the other teams at the club that are doing well too!!
I'm sure they are as worthy of congratulation and praise as the hugely successful reserve and ladies teams aren't they?.......after all, we aren't a 2 team club, are we?
Well done to all teams that perform so well in the name of Eastbourne Town FC......after all, in sport as in life, success isn't always about winning things is it?

I am a person proud of EVERYTHING Eastbourne Town FC has ever achieved, in the past or at present. It's just some teams are at present achieving better results than others. All one has to look at are Results and Table positions to see this. This happens to all sides, at all clubs, every single season. I mean no denigration to any side.....It's only you who seems to see this comeonyouyellows. So what's new in praising sides doing well? Give me the facts of other successful Town sides and I will willingly heap as much praise on them as possible.
