Oh Yes my mistake Sorry! Well done to them all but where is Mr Griffiths now? He and his team only just joined us last year? Strange state of affairs!

steve and his team have decided to go back to polegate. the reasons for that you would need to ask steve himself but i think the first post in this subject maybe sums it up perfectly!

from what i heard the county cup team from last season was some-what weakened by having to "accommodate" lesser talented players,so a truely remarkable achievement to have won it
this theory seems to be backed up when you look at the league fixtures and see that greens (s.griffiths) actually forfitted their fixture against the yellows (r.thomas)
i wait with anticipation at this seasons fixture's

very petty mark. i could go down the 'why sign on a weaker player from the green squad?' route only to lose him this season to southdown along with 2 other players from the greens but i wont.
i think that no matter how many u16 teams go thru the system at town or polegate or wherever the best boys will get scouted and picked up by the likes of lewes or boro or brighton anyway. and to be fair if they havnt been spotted by 15/16 they probably arent good enough anyway!
