For the second time in three days Town were played off the pitch by a side they needed to beat to put themselves in with a chance of avoiding the wooden s****. Luckily Crawley Down Gatwick are keeping us in the hunt by losing again, this time 5-2 to Sittingbourne. We now have to make up our 4 points deficit with our two remaining fixtures being Worthing away on Monday and Whitstable at home next Saturday. We also have to hope that CDG fail against Hythe at home on Monday and Hastings away next Saturday. Although we normally do well at Worthing to expect us to win these two games when we have won only 6 all season is asking a lot, but, like they always say "Footballs a funny old game".
