Although Town have not had a mid-week game this week other results have not gone entirely our way. Corinthian Casuals beat Worthing with prolific scorer Jamie Byatt getting the only goal. On Tuesday Redhill lost 3-4 to Burgess Hill and on Thursday Sittingbourne equalised in the 90th minute against them. Having the 2 points snatched away at the last minute might be very useful to us in the final analysis. Tony Reid's Walton and Hersham won their local derby with Walton Casuals 5-1 to climb to nearly halfway up the table. We have only 12 games left and even though the final few are very winnable the next 4 are difficult to say the least. Hastings are the visitors Saturday and they will be intent on staying in their play-off position and on Wednesday we go to title-chasing Leatherhead. Next Saturday we go to Ramsgate where their squad will be out to impress the experienced new manager who has just been appointed. On Tuesday April 1st away to Whitstable who will be welcoming back their 20 year old Scott Heard from training and playing trial matches for Chesterfield. Johan Ter Horst, who was Folkestone's match winner here a couple of weeks ago, has signed a contract with Hull City.

If we fail to avoid relegation it should give us some local derbies next season. Unless something amazing happens Eastbourne United will be coming up from Div 2. Hailsham looked to be certainties for relegation but Arundel and Worthing seeming likely to go down and problems at Rye could give them a lifeline.
