Town begin their most important week in the Ryman League, if they are to remain members ,against Walton and Hersham (who are without a manager) on Saturday at the Saffrons . The visitors have had a torrid time recently having picked up only one point since the end of November. During the week they lost 4-1 to Corinthian Casuals who Town go to on Tuesday night. Casuals are only 3 points above Town and also had a manager resign this week, but they have a very experienced stand-in who has been with the club a long time and has done the job before. Unfortunately they are quite the form side at moment having had several good results after a start to the season comparable to Towns. On Thursday Town are at home to Herne Bay who have not been in the best of form lately and at the end of next week Tooting and Mitcham are the visitors on Saturday (8/2/14). Tooting drew 0-0 this week with Crawley Down Gatwick. Obviously all of these games are winnable and a couple of them are really 6 pointers. Fortunately there are a few other teams dropping down the table but we have got to start picking up 3 points a game as we have such a lot of catching up to do. The following week will be difficult with games against Faversham and Folkestone, both sides being in the top six and intent on staying in a play-off spot.

Both Walton & Hersham and Corinthian Casuals have now appointed managers. Casuals new manager is Matt Howard who is their former first team coach and is at moment coaching Woking Development squad. The new Walton manager is known to Town players and supporters.
