Burgess Hill are the visitors on Wednesday ,with a 12 Noon kick-off, and they are in need of points as much as Town but for a different reason. If they win their games in hand they will be in a playoff position. Several of their players are well known to our supporters, Danny Curd, Scott Kirkwood, Neill Watts and Stuart Tuck have all played for us and Pat Harding, Darren Budd and Paul Armstrong are ex-Boro. Corinthian Casuals, who are at the bottom with us and who we go to next Saturday, lost today, as did Chipstead. It looks as if Town have to overtake Casuals, Chipstead and Three Bridges, who got an unexpected draw today, to guarantee Ryman League football next season. With the amount of games that have been postponed Town will be playing every Wednesday for a few weeks.
