Why is this not on the clubs main web-site? What is the footballing background of Kevin Laundon? Will we be told if all ,or any, of last seasons players are staying?

Thank you Richard. I had to exit and then re-enter the club web-site as my computer appeared to be stuck with the appeal for applicants for the managers job as the first , and main, posting.

I think 'Club Manager' can be interpreted as 'Director of Football'. The club did report that they had had a lot of high quality applications, so you would imagine that Kevin Laundon must have come across very well to the committee. Clearly they would not have made 2 appointments like this unless the incumbents had a similar outlook on the game. This therefore bodes well: If Mr Laundon has the same approach as Mr colwell, then that is a good start.
However, it could be very difficult to start with. A number of players may well leave as they are 'Bloor' players, and may find the new regime outside their comfort zone. The club is probably in for a transitional season. As ever, a lot will depend on the budget. As has been remarked on here, Mr Bloor did have a lot of contacts, but quality is better than quantity. Interesting times.
