NEW PIE DEAL FOR
EASTBOURNE TOWN FC
EASTBOURNE TOWN FC are delighted to announce that, from Saturday April 6th 2013, they will follow Brighton & Hove Albion FC and Sussex County Cricket Club by having their MATCHDAY HOT PIES supplied exclusively, by agreement, from PIGLETS PANTRY, the well known Sussex purveyor of fine quality pies.
Various varieties of pies will be available, to include the Piglets Pantry famous Steak & Sussex Ale, Chicken Gammon & Leek and Chicken Balti.
The fantastic reputation that is being built around these pies sits well with the ongoing branding and key partnerships that ETFC looks to achieve. It is another step in delivering an ever improving matchday experience for those that follow Town, or visit, at the Saffrons.
Carrying the Town's name, and now firmly established in the Ryman League, the town centre based club has represented Eastbourne with honour and pride since 1881 and continues to do so, serving the local community with integrity, ambition and a socially responsible attitude.
Town's Chairman, David Jenkins said, "We are delighted to welcome Piglets Pantry to the Saffrons as part of our matchday delivery team. As we strive to improve the quality of our service and delivery, our matchday offerings are how we are initially judged. Whilst I believe we have an excellent reputation, our presentation has improved enormously over recent seasons with major improvements to our ground, our website www.etfc.biz, our programme and our general visibility and profile.
Our ever strengthening relationship with local players has seen us develop and progress really well on the pitch with Danny Bloor and Garry Wilson leading us to new heights. Our crowds and attendances have improved year on year for the last few years, so this new partnership with Piglets Pantry adds to our efforts to supply quality products from every possible angle for our fans, supporters, sponsors and visitors.
If it's good enough for the Albion and the Sussex County Cricket Club then I expect it will both please and satisfy all those that come through our gates. We are also honoured to be the first sports venue in Eastbourne to have Piglets Pantry as an official supplier."
Jo @ Piglets, added "Piglets are delighted to be launching some of their award winning pies tomorrow at Eastbourne Town FC, we will be serving our famous Steak in Harveys Ale, our lovely Chicken endorsed by Paul Holywood and Chris Evans and a nice spicy Balti to keep all the fans warm. We hope everyone enjoys the match and a nice hot pie adding Piglets@Eastbourne to our Piglet Family."
Eastbourne Town play host to Corinthian-Casuals FC on Saturday with a 3pm kick off.
60 local children will also be in attendance following the 2nd Annual F4P@ETFC Holiday Football Camp and Festival, delivered FREE OF CHARGE by ETFC and the University of Brighton - School of Sport and Football 4 Peace. This event was supported by Eastbourne Borough Council, the Eastbourne Herald & Gazette and NHS Sussex.
