Those who stayed away from the Saffrons for this match missed one of the most enthralling games seen here for a few seasons. Dulwich had not lost since October and were obviously confident of another 3 points in their quest to catch Maidstone . Two headers from Evan Archibald gave Town a deserved 2-0 lead by half-time. Pelling had made a couple of good saves by punching clear when under pressure and a goal-line clearance kept Dulwich out. Austin and Elliott controlled the centre of the defence to prevent any shots on target in the second half and two shots from Town whistled narrowly over the bar.
