Towns battle to climb out of the relegation zone is not being made any easier by the next three league fixtures. Dulwich have taken over as South Division leaders after beating Three Bridges, and then our following two home games are against Hythe (currently 3rd)on Sat 8/12 and the rearranged game with Sittingbourne (5th) on Weds 12/12. If we don't pick up any points in these three matches we might not be in a better position than we were two years ago on New Years Day. If we were to get all nine points we could be close to a play-off place!

But Mr Bloor is not spending his time looking at the league table. Perhaps he should !
Anyone seen how Messrs Cooper, Baitup, and Goodwin are banging them in for Eastbourne United ?
Wake up committee, before it is too late !

It is obvious that we desperately need a striker and although the three players mentioned are doing well they are scoring in County League div 2. When playing for us their commitment could not be faulted but they struggled in the Ryman league. Danny Bloor must have the most well-thumbed little black book in Sussex and I think we can only hope that he can produce yet another newcomer.

I see that Liam scored both goals in Uniteds 2-1 win over Lewes last night. I understand that it was a below strength Lewes side but thats their fault. His goals got us out of the County league and helped keep us up in the Ryman first year so maybe he is worthy of Ryman league..

I agree they are playing in county 2, but I wouldn't agree they struggled in Ryman. I thought they could be described as proven at that level. Baitup and Cooper contributed much to the best season in 2008/09.
