Excellent result with Town giving their best performance at home so far. OK, Faversham were not a great side but you can only play the opposition you have and Town never looked like doing anything than winning comfortably.
Nice change to see Town get an early goal - a penalty from their first attack - and Steve May's goal was pure class. When Sam Crabb beat the goalkeeper in a race to the ball just after half time the result was was no longer in any doubt.
Faversham had two or three chances during the match and Kieron Thorp made one excellent save from a free kick.
I must say that Faversham verbally contested every decision the referee and his assistants made, so much so that they had a player sent off in the second half for, I believe, mouthing off to an assistant. It's a wonder to me that anyone ever wants to become a referee! Town, I'm pleased to say, were a lot more moderate in their attitude.
A good win and I remain confident that Town will avoid a relegation scrap this season and finish mid table or above.

Away form has been good but Town needed to turn around their home form and it sound as if they have done with a great result against Faversham.
